Welcome to the website of Cambridge University First Aid Society, and St John Ambulance Cambridge LINKS. If you are a member of the St John Ambulance unit, then please log-in to the member's area for the latest information on our training sessions, about going on duty, and for internal contact numbers and details. For non-members the public side of this website provides details on the wide range of services we are able to provide:

Event First Aid Cover - We are able to provide fully insured, uniformed first aid staff and equipment for events, ranging in scale from community fairs and sports days, through to large music events and May Balls. Please see the First Aid Cover page for details on the range of services we are able to provide, and information on how to get in touch.
First Aid Training for Clubs and Societies - We are able to provide bespoke first aid courses, and courses from the St John Ambulance range to clubs and societies of Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin Universities. For more details please see the Training page. Companies looking for commercial first aid training should enquire through the national website in the first instance.
First Aid Training for Individuals - We occasionally offer first aid courses which are open to applications from individual members of the public (though are normally restricted to students of Cambridge or Anglia Ruskin Universities). Details on these will be made available on the Training page of this site. Individuals whom are not university members, or who are looking for specific training courses are best advised to look through the national website in the first instance.
Membership and Volunteering Opportunities - As a St John Ambulance Unit we look to recruit members of Cambridge or Anglia Ruskin Universities studying towards any degree, whether healthcare related or not. We are then able to provide free first aid training, access to regular weekly meetings, and the opportunity to come "on duty" at a wide range of events, helping to provide medical cover and first aid to members of the public. St John Ambulance Cambridge LINKS

We are a St John Ambulance unit based within central Cambridge, and we draw our members from the students and staff of the local universities - The University of Cambridge, and Anglia Ruskin University. As a St John Ambulance unit we are able to provide training and support and equipment for our members, who we then utilise to provide first aid cover at events throughout Cambridgeshire. We provide the medical cover at events ranging from local club nights and university balls through to flying days at the Duxford Airfield and large music festivals.

Cambridge University First Aid Society (CUFAS)

CUFAS are a special interest society registered with the University of Cambridge, and very tightly associated with St John Ambulance. We run regular weekly meetings during term time, which range from first aid practice sessions through to talks by external speakers and large-scale simulated major incidents. We are also able to provide non-acredited first aid training and advice sessions to other societies and organisations within the university, and are able to tailor these sessions to the needs of specific groups to a far greater extent than commercially available courses.
