We do not offfer first aid courses to individuals who are not members of St John Ambulance. We reccomend that individuals who are seeking a first aid qualification for use exclusively outside of St John contact the Cambridgeshire commercial team. They are able to offer a wide range of courses and qualifications including first aid, fire marshalling, risk assessment and moving and handling.
If you are interested in becoming a member of St John Ambulance, then we are able to provide all of the training required for you to help provide first aid at a wide range of events. For more information on becoming a member, please see our prospective members page. We offer a large range of training courses to our members, and for details on upcoming courses, their pre-requisities, and how to sign up, then please log into the member's area of this site.
We also provide less formal weekly sessions for our members, which provide an opportunity to discuss and practice first aid outside the constraints of a formal training course. These are open to both members of the society, and prospective members. For more details society members should view the calendar available in the member's area or refer to the regular emails sent to the member's mailing list. Prospective members are more than welcome to attend one of these sessions to find out more about both the society, and St John Ambulance, for details, they should contact the publicity officer.
We are able to arrange first aid courses for organisations, including university clubs and societies. We are able to run these courses as St John Ambulance, meaning we can deliver accredited, standardised first aid training to your society members. Alternatively we are able to run un-accredited courses as CUFAS, giving us the freedom to tailor the course to the needs of your society, for instance focusing on the provision of first aid in specific settings, or related to a certain sport. In either case the course will be designed and run by our qualified St John Ambulance trainers, and the organisation overseen by our training team. For more information please contact the training team in orfer to discuss your needs.

St. John Ambulance believes that everyone should learn at least the basic first aid techniques. You may need to use them at any time at home, at school or work or even while you're travelling. Knowing what to do can make a difference to a person's recovery, and you could even save their life. You may therefore download the very latest in first aid advice and play it on you iPod or MP3 player on the move. Please visit http://www.sja.org.uk/firstaid/info/.
